Programs in Development

Existing Programs:
IPC will complete and distribute the approved programs that have been developed to date, and ensure that all requirements are compatible between programs in order to avoid different requirements being called up for the range of IPC programs unless the technical requirements are compelling.

The documents currently issued will be reviewed for compatibility with ISO 19011 and ISO 17024, and appropriate changes to the criteria and structure of the documents will be made.

New Programs
IPC will develop a range of new programs in response to identified needs. These will include programs for certifications, and for approval of relevant training course providers and training courses, in the following areas:

Laboratory Accreditation Auditing (against ISO 17025);
Auditing Food Safety Management Systems and HACCP Programs;
Auditing Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems ;
Internal Auditing of Management Systems; and
Quality Consulting.

Peer Evaluation
IPC will change the process of peer evaluation for members of the IPC MLA to remove the need for a full re-evaluation of the relevant management system of the body concerned when undergoing an evaluation for the purpose of extending scope of membership of the MLA. This will not remove the requirement for a full re-evaluation of the management system to take place during the four yearly re-evaluation exercise.
